Art Lane - Associate Broker
As a former Director of Engineering and Network Operations for three major cellular companies in the U.S., Art is no stranger to detail-oriented professions. After enjoying a successful career spanning over thirty-two years in the wireless industry, where he pioneered the initial launch of the first cellular and PCS networks in the U.S., Art decided to retire in 2003. Shortly thereafter, he obtained his Maryland Real Estate license, and immediately became affiliated with Long and Foster Real Estate, Inc. in Columbia, Maryland. Not content with 'just' being a REALTOR®, in November 2007 Art attained his Maryland Brokers license certification after graduating from the Realtors® Institute.
"I realized that becoming a REALTOR® - Associate Broker would allow me to channel some of the business skills I acquired during my years in the wireless industry back into the community at large. At the beginning of each day, I know that I might positively impact the quality of someone's life, and at the end of each day, I feel humbled and rewarded when I do."
"The decision to affiliate with Long and Foster Real Estate, Inc. was immediate, since they are the largest, privately owned real estate firm in the United States, and have the necessary resources of both people and technology to market properties successfully. I had re-discovered the entrepreneurial spirit once again with Long and Foster."
In late 2010, Art decided to leave Long and Foster and pursue other interests. He remains a licensed Associate Broker with Metro Referral Associates, Inc. If you are looking to engage the services of a competent REALTOR® you are invited to contact him. He will match your needs with the professional network of associates he has acquired over the years at no charge to you. And, it doesn't matter whether you are moving from Texas to New Jersey, Maryland to New Hampshire. Whatever your move -- Art can help by getting you the support matched to your individual needs!
